Candle Care

Keep the wick trimmed to ¼” - trim before and after each burn - remove any wick trimmings before lighting. For the first burn, let the candle burn for one hour per diameter inch then extinguish the flame and allow it to cool completely - for example, if the pillar is a 3” diameter, the first burn should last 3 hours.

Soy Container Candles - Lumpy top after burning. Now this is normal! Pure soy, with no additives, will be rough and cratered when it resets after a burn. It is completely normal and is an indication that your wax is 100% soy. If it sets smoothly then your wax has additives in it, most likely paraffin wax, to prevent these tops.
